Thai Food: Pattaya

I’ve been wanting to try Thai food for a couple of years, but never had the chance to try it. My roommates love Thai Food and they love a restaurant called Pattaya on 4006 Chestnut Street. Two of my roommates have been raving about Pattaya, so I finally had time to go for lunch. My one roommate and I went there for lunch on Monday. I ordered Wonton soup and an egg roll. My roommate ordered an egg roll and mushroom soup. I wasn’t familiar with Thai food, so she ordered our entrees. She ordered Pad Thai for both of us. I was a little confused when the Pad Thai was pink. I tried the Pad Thai and realized that Thai food isn’t for me. I really wish that I liked the Pad Thai, but I guess it’s an acquired taste. The atmosphere had a good feel, three floors of dining and the waiters were extremely nice and attentive.

When we went for lunch at Pattaya on Monday, my roommate and I were the only ones at the restaurant. They seated us right away. My roommate ordered Coconut juice (which was interesting because it tasted like water, but there were numerous pieces of coconut floating in the water). I, of course, ordered my favorite drink in the whole entire world: Diet Coke. Pattaya had a lot of different choices on their menu, I would love to go back sometime soon and try a different entree. If you love Thai food, you should definitely go to Pattaya!
